biography

My Mum
Hi my name is mary. I'm going to be talking about, my Mum is around 35 yrs old, her Iwi is Ngati Whatua, and she is from Araparera 2hrs from Auckland. The two places she was brought up in are Araparera and Otara.

My great-grandmother and grandmother
My nans(my Mums, Mum) is still alive! So basically i'm saying my great-grandmother is alive, she is in either in her 70’s or 80’s. My grandmother is still alive now. She is around 60’s or 50’s. I was surprised when I visited them.
They basically live together.

What my mum’s favorite sport was when she was young.
My mum’s favorite sport was netball.
She always tells me that she was the best. She tries to get me to do netball but i'm more into soccer and swimming and stuff like that. Even tho i like playing netball, but in my opinion i suck at it.
But anyways, my mum always tries to give me tips of:
. how to play
.how to shoot
.what to do
And all that kind of stuff
My mum is kind, helpful, lovingly, sweet and a-bit over-protective.
She always used to tell me that when my 3 older brothers were born ,she always wanted a girl.
And that she and my dad named after my nans.
I love my mum very much.

                        3 burgers                                            4 drinks 2 chips

In algebra this is: 2b + 2d +2c + 3b + 4d +2c
This can be simplified: 5b + 6d + 4c
b= burgers  d= drinks c= chips

In algebra this is: 2i + 1c + 15cc + 1i + 2c + 15cc
This can be simplified: 3i + 3c + 30cc

Pollution

Pollution
Hi my name is Mary.
And we’ve been learning about, soil pollution, plastic pollution, sea pollution and air pollution.

What is very interesting for me is sea pollution.
I’ve learned that PLASTIC IS NON BIODEGRADABLE
And that whenever plastic goes into the ocean, the current or waves will break plastic into little pieces. If your wondering right now which country has the 5 biggest rubbish patches in the ocean and what are rubbish patches?.

Well i got the answer to that!
The 5 biggest rubbish patches in the ocean are:
North Atlantic, North Pacific, South Atlantic, South Pacific and India Ocean.
And the biggest out of all is, North Atlantic.
Which is between Hawaii and California, which is 3x the size of france!!!.

Rubbish patches:
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a collection of marine debris in the North Pacific Ocean. Marine debris is litter that ends up in oceans, seas, and other large bodies of water. ... The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) defines a gyre as a large system of swirling ocean currents.

But to stop all pollution and make it non pollution is to not litter and do not use anything that includes plastic, oil, and smoke.
I hope this gives you some ideas to stop the pollution that is in our environment.
The End - from Mary
